Kate Gilpin, the owner of Words Into Print, has over twenty years of editorial experience in a wide spectrum of areas, from fiction, biography, and family history to scientific articles, dissertations, and community newsletters.

A Cal Berkeley graduate, Kate's background includes teaching, as well as editorial work for major New York book publishers. She often collaborates with professionals in translating their specialized vocabulary for increased accessibility by a general audience.

Her book reviews have appeared in a monthly magazine, and she is a published poet and essayist. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and writes about her very large dogs Steinway and Poppy.
